M on Madison

The M on Madison is a 73 unit condominium building containing both residential and ground floor commercial retail units. Located at the corner of Madison Street and North Howard Street in downtown Baltimore, the contemporary styled structure is meant to serve as a beacon for the rebirth of the formerly grand North Howard Street retail corridor. For-sale retail spaces coupled with second floor living spaces create a unique product which both activates the street while eliminating the need for third-party management of commercial space.
The retail storefronts are designed to work with the materials and scale of adjacent shops. The residential units above create a variety of scale at the macro level. The building is designed to incorporate sustainable design principles and is seeking "green" tax credits.
