This strip retail site is being redeveloped into a sustainable mixed-use town center. Incorporating the Washington D.C. White Flint Metro Station into this redevelopment at the center of a rapidly urbanizing community, the site at Rockville Pike is a model for sustainable, transit-oriented suburban redevelopment.
The main office tower serves as a focal point to the greater community and the combination of residential and ground-floor retail creates a lively urban district. To complement the variety of sizes and uses of the district, a series of smaller-scale, Multi-Family residential buildings were designed to articulate the rhythm if the street.
