Spiral DC, designed in 2013, intends to create a new and iconic venue for downtown Washington, DC. By following the vision of world class architecture sponsored by the District’s Public Library initiative, Spiral DC is a dynamic design for a prominent site in the center of the city. The design offers spaces for socially generative and creative endeavors, with public meeting rooms and offices surrounding a large, open communal open space.
