This new Transit Oriented Development (TOD), located adjacent to the Reisterstown Road Metro Station, will be a multiuse project consisting of 539 multifamily rental units, 140 townhouses, 72,000 square feet of retail shops, 134 units of senior housing, and a farmer’s market. The project is anchored by the Social Security Headquarters building to the south and the New Psalmist Baptist Church to the west and will create the ideal Live Work Worship neighborhood. Designed as a series of terraces which step down into the natural stream bed, the urban form transitions the scale of large to small and public to private in a sensitive and organic way. The heart of the project is a Town Square which will have a weekend farmers market.
