HILTON GARDEN & HOMEWOOD SUITES by HILTON

Harbor East, Baltimore, MD

This combo-branded hotel is the gateway building to the entertainment and fine dining neighborhood of Harbor East, a three million square foot, Mixed-Use redevelopment in Baltimore, Maryland. The 160-key Hilton Garden Inn and 135-room Homewood Suites combination hotel is part of Parcel B, a 950,000 square foot, Mixed-Use building which also includes a 250,000 square foot, Class-A office building, an 850-space garage, a 75,000 square foot health club, an eight-plex movie theater, and 35,000 square feet of retail, 25 residential lofts, and a 95-unit high-rise condominium building. All of this provides a backdrop for the city’s tallest and most iconic outdoor sculpture, the National Katyn Memorial.

The dual-branded hotel is organized around a shared ground-floor shuttle lobby which connects separate lobby spaces containing the prototypical brand amenities and programmatic elements. On the roof of the garage and retail podium is a spacious 5th-floor outdoor courtyard. By combining service, utility, administrative, and guest support facilities, Parcel B’s program maintains economic usage of the site, reducing construction costs.
