The Berkleigh development brings to life the concept of live-work-play communities in a way that appeals to a range of generations, creating a rich community in a vibrant area. The selection of housing types provides the perfect home for anyone interested in living in Eastern Baltimore County. The Berkleigh is part of the 1,000-acre Baltimore Crossroads development in White Marsh, Maryland. Within the 200-acre Baltimore Crossroads, the Berkleigh provides an additional 357 apartment and loft units to the community of over 1,000 residences, 425,000 square feet of office space, 116,000 square feet of retail, and a 5-acre park.

 

The Berkleigh is located in a well-connected area with many basic services that are easily accessible to staff, guests, and residents alike.

• Secure storage has been incorporated for over 15% of its residence
• Just under 30% of the permanently installed building materials were extracted and manufactured within 500 miles of the residence. As a result, less greenhouse gas emissions were generated during transport.
• Spaces are reserved for Low Emitting and Fuel-Efficient Vehicles in the parking garage. Additionally, Electric Vehicle Charging Stations have been provided for resident use.
• A VRF HVAC system, as well as an efficient building envelope allowed the project to achieve a 31% energy cost saving
