Washington, DC

The Cotton Annex is a multi-branded, mixed-use hospitality project located 1 block south of the National Mall in Washington DC. The project will create a strong link between the Mall and the burgeoning Wharf Development along the South West waterfront. The project consists of a 183-room Historic Boutique Hotel which will occupy the former Cotton Annex building. This will be a Tax Credit redevelopment following the Secretary of the Interior standards for the renovation of historic structures. A new two level garage will occupy the balance of the site as a podium for two new hotel towers.

The first is planned as a 300-key micro room hotel and the second is planned as a extended stay product. The roof top of the podium will be a beautifully landscaped courtyard with fantastic views of the National Mall. The three hotel lobbies and public spaces, restaurants and retail shops will enliven the entire district and create a destination unto themselves. Each of the hotels will have rooftop venues with panoramic views of Washington DC.
